What’s Going On

Down there, as engineered by Girl Genius Ariana Osborne, who did all of this for me based a bit on my design, which is based on the header photo, which is based on a hotel: Flickr, Tumblr, and to the left, Vimeo.

Briefly.

Flickr is my photostream. Which is Flickr jargon for, the photos I post, displayed chronologically. The most recent comes here on its own.

Tumblr is what runs my tumblelog, which is where I post anything that doesn’t merit more than a few words. Probably more uncensored than here. But only in aggregate. Also pipes in my del.icio.us links, and my Twitter updates, also a microblogging/moblogging tool-cum-format.

(I’m only saying this because so many people who read this, I know, have been here since 1999. And everything’s changed and I don’t expect you to keep up. And if that sounds indulgent or elitist, it’s not me. It’s the future — and the me I produce with it is as vain as the future itself.)

And Vimeo. Where personal videos (as in, everything that isn’t The Future of Sex) go. There’s just that little moment here so far. So I’m real. So I hear, anyway: video makes you real.
